It's been awhile..

A year had gone by since I've posted. Where has the time gone?

Trudee is now a grandma. Her daughter had puppies and the girl in the house wants to get one. I've enjoyed having Trudee to play with but don't know if I'm up to having a puppy.

My humans put me on a diet and I've lost a few pounds. I'm now at the weight my vet said I should be at.

Last summer we took a trip to see some of my eskie friends. I got to see Shasta, Kola, Nuuk ant Tako. It was fun staying at the Drury Inn, a very dog friendly hotel.

It's winter now..

It's winter and Trudee has been here for six months now.

Most of the time I'm glad she's here. We play together and share just about everything.

My family went out of town and it was easler for me to go to doggy day care not by myself.

I am not alone..

Last weekend we drove for hours to see some of my online buddies. We went camping and to a HUGE picnic with many American Eskimo dogs like myself.

And what do you know.. At the picnic they got another Amerian Eskimo and it came home with us!

I don't know what to think yet. She's really cute and little. But she has a way of getting attention and sometimes I think that the attention should be just for me.

But she's fun to watch try to play with my toys. Just don't get my favorite slipper!

It's now summer

It's summer but you wouldn't know it. It's been raining about every day. Dad grows desert plants and they have been having a hard time it's been so cool and wet. Last summer it was hot and dry. I don't like going outside when it's hot or when it's raining. Can't we have something in between??

My girl is at camp this week so it will be lonely for me. Just me and the parents..

It's (almost) spring!

This is the time of year that I love to go outside and smell all the new things in the air. I can go outside and sniff the weeds that are coming up and blooming. And the trees are in bloom with the spring flowers.

It's been busy at our house, my girl left me a few weeks ago for a gym trip in California and I moped around the house the entire time she was gone. It was sure dull without her.

It's almost Christmas. My family has been really busy and I've hardly had any time on the computer.

One of the things that has been going on is a card exchange between my eskie buddies all over. Before I had my picture taken I had a bath so I'd look extra good for the ladies.

I've been sick!

Monday my family grilled and I got chicken skins! But I got sick the next day and didn't get better. I got worse yesterday and had to go to the emergency vet because I couldn't even lay down my tummy hurt so bad.

They ran tests and found that my intestines were really swollen. The medicine they gave me helped me feeling better.

I went to my regular vet today and he told mom that I can never have raw chicken skins again.

When Mom came home from work she lay down to rest and I kept licking her. I think she was really glad that I felt so much better and was up and around..

I'm laying on the kitchen floor again. It feels so good to lay down and get some rest!
